Tuning SQL Statements

Tuning SQL Statements was written for the Oracle SQL Analyzer tool, which took SQL statements, analyzed them, and offered ways to make the statements more efficient. The book was originally very short, but I went to a SQL class and talked to the students, who told me that the suggestions weren't clear enough. I spoke to my manager, and I came up with two more chapters that explained the suggestions in more detail and how they can be used to create better SQL. PDF

The Sun Java Mobility Tutorial showed how to install Java Mobility onto a computer and create a Currency Converter for dollars, Euros, and Yen. I was the documentation team for the Mobility Java team and provided all documentation for the tool through several releases.  PDF

NetBeans Mobility Pack for CDC 5.51 Quick Start Guide was written for Sun Microsystems to show how phone emulators could be added to the Netbeans IDE. At the time this was written, each new emulator required its own emulator. PDF
